Basecamp is a bit like a board game. I can share some of the rules but you learn best just by playing with it.

On your orientation call, your success coach will orient you to everything and if anything is unclear you can always ask or refer back to that first call recording. The most important thing is you know where to ask questions AND don't try too hard to overcomplicate it.

(PRO TIP: Good advice always as you go through this process of creating a successful health coach biz is not to go out of your way to complicate it. A sure sign of the frustration/overwhelm floor - see module 5 - and you can NEVER get to clarity from confusion no matter how many places or ways the answers are presented. So focus on what you DO know and what IS working. But definitely ask questions. Happy to help. I just want you to be able to HEAR and FIND the answers. πŸ˜‰)

1. Tagging. You actually already know that because you tagged me in your question βœ”οΈπŸ˜ƒ But for reference you type '@' and then start typing the person's name you want to tag and select the person that comes up that you want.

2. Ping - don't even think about pinging me .... I will NOT answer. Ignore it. So pretend it doesn't exist. Easy. βœ”οΈπŸ˜ƒ

3. Hey - This is like your 'inbox' of notifications. You can see posts in communities or projects that you are in or have been tagged in. In your settings, which you can access by going to the top right and clicking on the circle with your picture or initials, you can change your notifications. In the video I created previously there are instructions on how to adjust your notifications and you can have your "Hey" indicate the # of unread notifications (which I like) or just a red dot.

You can turn off your notifications BUT then I would ABSOLUTELY make a point to check this question board daily for info. I post all the time awareness ideas or teaching things to this group in here. You will miss my answers and daily coaching here if you ignore this - but this is not critical to your success. ALSO, you can see how as I answer this question for you ... that others who have turned off their notifications will not see it and will ask me tomorrow and the next day and the next day ... instead of going to FAQ where almost every question has ALREADY been answered and is there ... and we won't get to the 'good' stuff of answering your REAL questions. 😊

You CAN still be successful if you ignore the "Hey" and just focus on these 2 things:

-Β  your individual basecamp to post your homework in the place as indicated in the INTRO MODULE.

- Then if you have questions, post in the Question Board in the COMMUNITY

4. Community Campfire - is like a giant text message thread. This is primarily reserved for welcoming new people into the group. This way we do not lose people's questions in a series of welcomes. Campfire was a name basecamp has ... potentially I could rename as "Welcome Thread" or something ... but then I would have to re-record all my teaching modules where I describe how basecamp works LOL ... and I'd MUCH prefer to help people create amazing signature programs and attract clients.

5. "Subscribers" - is who all has 'potential' access to see this thread. Much less than that ACTUALLY see (b/c of turned off notifications, and relevance etc. ) ie. Some people may have graduated out of the Awakened Healers program but I am still working with them, so they still have access to Docs & Files etc. but they aren't really looking at THIS question board because they are beyond this stage.
