Some key points: 

  • Tradeshows in general are a low yield for clients and I do NOT recommend YOU seek them out especially if there is a cost. 

  • If there is a COST, know your CPA (cost per acquisition of a client). So if acceptable cost for example to acquire a client is $500 and event costs $1000  - if you get 1 client, do not do that again. If you get 3 clients, do it again and again. 

  • My RECOMMENDATION is to go as an 'audience member/attendee' and go to various booths (the other vendors are already trying to give you their contact information) and say " Hey, I'm thinking of having a booth here next year, and I'm wondering if this would be something good for what I do?"

    Then of course, they will reply with " What do you do?" and of course, you can share your Power Statement and has the potential to lead to a call #1 if they are wanting this. 

  • HOWEVER, if the event "comes to you", it can be an excellent "Awareness Activity" (getting in front of other people's audience) 

  • If you have an opportunity to SPEAK - even better!!! 🥳💜 Think MINI WEBINAR

  • Regardless, you will want to have a HOOK. (something to attract attention)

  • This can be VISUAL :

  • Trifold 'science project type' backboard (FYI: If you create slides (power point, google, keynote) ... and then print on glossy 8.5 x 11 in paper. You can fit 12 slides/ papers on the backboard.

    -  3 horizontal "slides" vertically done each side of the backboard and in the 

  • - middle of the backboard - 2 fit beside each other ... and 3 fit vertically - for a total of 6 slides in the middle 

  • Topic should attract attention. Before and afters; Something controversial, educational . Can be similar to VSL secrets. 

  • Trifold Brochures - something to put on the table and like a paper version of your website that has a QR code to your calendar.

  • Bookmarks - also great to have on a table or tucked into a prize. 

  • Flyers - ideally have this event in a PROMO WEEK for an upcoming CHALLENGE. PROMOTE YOUR FREE CHALLENGE. This is the BEST thing to offer. An easy, quick yes for them. They can register on the spot. 🥳

  • SAMPLES/ Recipes/oils/ demos. - sometimes there is something you do that you can offer as an easy way to quickly engage with people and HOOK their attention. If you have recipes, put your website, contact info on it.  (But don't lose sight of the main purpose - book call #1s

  • RAFFLE/ Wellness BASKET/ Free book - This can be a nice visual and be a reason to speak with passersby "Have you entered to win the free prize yet?"  Books have worked the best in my experience. People appreciate this real value. I did get one client this way when I raffled Deepak Chopra's book "Perfect Health" - the raffle winner ended up becoming my client after meeting to give him the book. I have not had success raffling a session with me though. LOL. 😳😂

  • QUIZZES - dosha quiz/ hormonal type/ STARTER KIT quiz/ Card readings, etc. to engage and want to learn more. 


  • Speaking topic should reflect Free Challenge Topic - same marketing copy/promo can be used ✅🙌😃 ... and it gives them an easy opportunity to connect further with you in the challenge AND book the Call #1. That is the best way. 

  • For raffle tickets - you can ask what they are interested in - multiple choice: weight loss, joint pain relief, menopause, energy, healthy aging, other  ... etc. 

  • Have tickets also on a clipboard and you can fill them out too for them if you are speaking with them (then you can read the writing) AND put comments by their name so you can remember ie. woman with red scarf. Lady with curls, etc. You think you'll remember but you forget. 

  • If you do have food - keep it simple. Remember, we are just trying to get them to book a call. Make sure it is allowed. Sometimes at some events health inspectors do not allow homemade food. A big glass bowl of mandarin oranges has been eye catching, inexpensive and no prep. Find something that is on point with your brand colours. But sometimes it is easier to skip this. But just some ideas. I've also given away water - but then there is the whole plastic water bottle thing ... although people do appreciate the water. 

  • Mainly if you are going to do it, have fun with it. 😃💜Have ONE call to action - ideally to join a free upcoming challenge - that will bring them into your already existing funnel ... and away you go! 🚀
