Dr Shaunna's Answer
Dr Shaunna discourages creating more work (a barrier) for people before the challenge starts. The only reason we do these five day challenges is to simply book a call. We will never cure them, or truly help them from a free five day challenge.
If we email them a bunch of stuff, there is no reason for them to get on a call. It also makes the five day challenge more complicated and decreases our ability to scale it. You want to be able to scale it to the moon ๐ Someday we want these challenges to run on autopilot so that the coaches can focus on coaching actual Clients. Whatever they need, they can be given on day one or in the Facebook group. You want to keep these challenges SUPER SIMPLE. Just getting them to drink water is huge. People underestimate that. Start with the easy stuff. Anything that is more complicated can be saved till later or once theyโre in the program.
We would call operating outside of this recommendation, "off roading" ๐ The more you off-road the more you will see that it makes it more complicated and slows you down in the long run.
If you are wanting to send out additional emails, then you have to figure that out on your own. That is not what Dr. Shaunna teaches. Keep it simple. If Dr. S (or myself (Mallorie), Kaisha, Ryan, etc) explain how to send additional emails, more of you will be tempted to do that and then less likely to actually be successful. So my recommendation is not to send additional information and instead keep it all in a Facebook group file or post or in the video that they created, etc.
