Why are you discounting?

We don't do or recommend that... unless it is your parent or child that you are paying for anyways. But discounted price correlates with discounted results and that is not a nice thing to do for family or friends.

 Here is what I recommend:

1. Everyone in the same program at the same time, pays the same price.

Your program is always getting better, but the price is always going up - so it is always fair. Everyone gets your absolute best at the lowest price it will ever be.

2. If you are starting with your very first client and you personally are 'choking' on asking for money and although your checkout page is set at $1500/ $1200 - you personally have not yet grown that muscle/skill set yet (even though most of our clients do for their first client at this current point of writing this answer)

... Then you could have a lower price (than what you put your checkout page) for a "beta" (mainly because you are afraid but never ever because of your judgement about someone's financial ability. Never disempower people like that. Believe in them. This is either a priority or it's not. If we could give this to them for free and it would work, we would ... Man, did I try. But it does not. Don't kill people with your "kindness".)

This discounted beta price is mainly to give YOU an opportunity to practice and become more confident in your program. And maybe they get results and maybe they don't. So for this situation, I'd just bring them in for free.

  • So if it is for practice to build your confidence - just do it for free plus a testimonial and do your best to keep them committed and get the best results you can.

  • If it is your very first paid client - that's fair. ✔️ Then just use a coupon code so you do not need to create additional checkout pages. This could potentially be the same amount as a future "hold your spot" deposit amount. Don't worry about others wanting a coupon code. Most checkout pages (including ours) has a spot to put a coupon code but there is no coupon - unless they paid a deposit and then there is a code to get their deposit back. ** See question vault on how to create a coupon code.

But if you have had clients at $1500 and then now you have someone that you want to offer it to for $750 for example. Don't do that. 🚧⛔️

This would qualify as 'off-roading' 🚧⛔️ under that circumstance and so you will be venturing into territory and trouble that you don't want ... although it will be a learning experience. 😬

But this year we are doing better and not answering off road questions because those lead to bigger, tangled mess questions down the road that we can spot a mile away.

Previously by answering a seemingly innocent question like this - you might actually have the false belief that this is part of our proven path and then wonder why you didn't reach six-figures, got burned out dragging bodies across the finish line or had clients that cancel, reschedule and don't follow through, etc. etc.  I get it. I understand the temptation to lower prices.

Our current prices are too low and as our value increased too high relative to our price, we started to have these problems emerge for us too. 🤦‍♀️ So although we never lowered our price, we did substantially increase the value without raising the price accordingly, and we have just done the experiment to show that - this is essentially the same thing. Lesson learned. Always learning.

People can always afford what they prioritize.

People demonstrate what they prioritize by what they spend their time and money on.

Usually what is required is for the coach to work on their money mindset

- See Virtual Retreat Dec. 2023. All good. We are going to increase your financial thermostat this year. 😃
- Watch the Six FIgure Sales Secrets Modules as many times as you can
- Come to Sales Clinic or watch the recordings. Happy to role play with you
- Ask me questions about this particular circumstance and why you felt a discount is was the best option in this particular circumstance. (All good. Like the one-armed alligator wrestler, we learn as we go. 🐊 LOL)

Perhaps you just discounted a 'tiny bit' - don't. The admin costs add up.

EACH DIFFERENT PRICE POINT IS LIKE AN ADDITIONAL PROGRAM.
AN ADDITIONAL NICHE. AN ADDITIONAL BUSINESS
.

It is challenging enough to grow ONE six figure business let alone several. It will definitely cost you more time.  At the beginning you may want to spend the time to get that first client. But eventually - NOPE.

This is the program. This is the price. So their options are simple:
1. Take it.
2. Leave it.

If there are more options for them, you will slow your success way way way down.

But that is our recommendation. So I am not sure what inspired the discount - but that is why there isn't anything on that.
