You can totally do this if it feels FUN and like a hobby for you. ✅
And it is not wrong to grow a list ... BUT don't "grow a list" just for the purpose of growing a list.
I know a lot of people with huge lists that are BROKE.
Instead grow your list by offering LEAD MAGNETS ... and then as they OPT IN and become your LEAD/ PROSPECT / CLIENT ... they are on your list. ...
But in the meantime while you are doing it the way I teach you are also actually helping people, getting clients, creating income, making a six-figure, soul-satisfying difference.
But newsletters themselves collect people that don't really have that bad of a problem and can hang out there for years ... and you just got to hope that something "bad" happens to them to have them get to "high noon" and then they reach out to you.
WAAY Faster to just speak to people who are urgently 10/10 help me ASAP people. Those are the ones who need your help. They don't want free tips or your next newsletter. They want help now. And if you aren't giving it to them, they will go find someone else. So OFFERING to help and hop on a call is key.
But if you love writing and you'd rather do that than .. .anything else .. go for it.
So build the list as a consequence of offering to help people. You will 10X your results. But if you like painting, pottery, writing newsletters, going to movies - knock yourself out. The only downside is that it might take time away from actually building your business - but if it is in your "free/ fun/flex" time - all good. ✅
