For regular coaching sessions, sales call sessions, even modules - generally record to the cloud, and then manually delete after a set amount of time.

What we do at here at THPA is record to the cloud and then tell the client that the share link for the video is only good for say a week or two but they have the option to download the video if they want to save it to their computer forever. Then, every week or two you can go through and delete old videos to free up space. That seems to work best because then you aren't also using up storage on your lap top / computer which is what would happen if you recorded to the computer.

For modules, you can then download / upload to YouTube as an unlisted video and then you have a permanent record of that.

IF and when you are doing 'video ads' or content where the video quality matters ... most people just record on their phones now ... but if you do zoom on computer THEN record to the computer as the cloud does compress data and the quality of the video is not quite as crisp. It's fine for calls and coaching, but not for ads or YouTube public where video quality matters.
