Dr Shaunna's Answer
If people have a biweekly or weekly 1:1 ... they generally will NOT show up for a weekly group call. It is really hard to entice them.
We've had an issue with AH now since adding in 1:1s. I thought because they weren't meeting with me 1:1 that would help ... and it does ... but as I've coached coaches over the years .. they just don't show up.
The only way to get them to show up for WEEKLY GROUP CALL is to get rid of ... or what I recommend is pare down 1:1s to
1. Orientation. Assessment. Game Plan first call.
2. Half way through check in
3. Graduation. Results to date. Next steps - solo or with you.
Having said that ... if there are only at the moment 4 - 6 FE clients - you can totally do 1:1 and weekly office hours ... where you have nothing planned and you can do desk work if no one shows up. Pop up zoom. Camera off. Mute. Work away. If anyone shows up .. you answer their questions.
I used to do that with our CFO. We met monthly but she had weekly office hours if anything came up. I almost always was the only person that showed up. I think maybe once there was one other person.
If no one is showing up for group call, skip it ... or FLIP IT
Have WEEKLY 1:1 and monthly group with special event/ topic. (They will come if it is a one time thing)
... and you could MERGE with BE people ... MONTHLY WORKSHOP on a topic where any of your current active clients can come "beginner" or "advanced" ( a way to seed the BE)
... This way if a bunch more FE clients come in making weekly 1:1 not possible ... just merge into the established "monthly" group which could become more frequent ... and back to a weekly group (FE only at this point) .. and then at this point BE still get their continued weekly group and the monthly could still be special topic.
And the new FE person could then get the monthly 1:1s/ weekly group.
So rather than weekly group (no shows) and biweekly 1:1s
Do weekly 1:1s/ monthly group. (Knowing you can flip back if too many FE 1:1)
